Crow Country Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABABBABACDDCDC| GUTTED of station noise alone | A |
| The crow's voice trembles down the sky | B |
| As if this nitrous flange of stone | A |
| Wept suddenly with such a cry | B |
| As if the rock found lips to sigh | B |
| The riven earth a mouth to moan | A |
| But we that hear them stumbling by | B |
| Confuse their torments with our own | A |
| Over the huge abraded rind | C |
| Crow countries graped with dung we go | D |
| Past gullies that no longer flow | D |
| And wells that nobody can find | C |
| Lashed by the screaming of the crow | D |
| Stabbed by the needles of the mind | C |
