PeopleA
Lend me your earsB
It's time to wake up and listen to the voices you hearC
The voices of what's rightD
The voices of love that's in your eye sightD
The voices of mother's silently rocking their child to sleepE
The voices of hatred bury deepE
The voices of crying soulsF
Crying souls weepingG
-
PeopleA
Lend me your heartH
To put to death the pain like fire that startsI
To burn and burnJ
What have we learned nothingG
Not a damn thingG
-
Can you hear the children cryK
Empty bellies without the food of knowledge to be fedL
And if you don't feed it will be deadL
A world crumpling all aroundM
And there is a certain soundM
Called silenceN
-
PeopleA
My people what have you doneO
You gambled away you had not leaving anything but oneO
Loser in fool's gameP
And then walk out of pockets emptied not knowing you own nameP
-
The deafen sounds are around you nowQ
But I don't know howQ
You will surviveR
How will you thrive Grow tall insideS
Like a tree unbentS
-
PeopleA
Oh my people can heartS
The end is knowing at your doorT
And when Death comes before youU
What will you rightly sayV
What will you do todayV
Time is running running outS
Times upW
