A Poem For Trayvon Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEEFGHIJKHLMNOPQR SQ

Just because you are youngA
Doesn t mean much to someB
But because you are blackC
It means nothingD
Somebody killed another childE
Somebody murdered another childE
Why are questions unansweredF
Challenges unchallengedG
Lives taken awayH
And hopes seem like it s goneI
The Joshua Generation depletedJ
A future uncertain unlessK
Yes unless we arise and sayH
Enough is enoughL
When are we going to stopM
Violently killing our youthN
Sending lambs to slaughterO
A nation that study warP
Can t stop young menQ
From dying on our streetsR
Why in the hell is this soS
RIP TrayvonQ
