A Conversation Piece Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABAC DEFB GHIJHD KLK| I use to hear them say | A |
| Letting those golden moments roll on | B |
| But how much longer of a delay | A |
| Or should I stay strong | C |
| - | |
| Either way the clock ticks in time | D |
| And I'm counting those moments | E |
| Or those moments I left behind | F |
| I just have to just roll on | B |
| - | |
| Could you see the winter of our lives | G |
| Drifting like so like snowflakes | H |
| And cold you see now | I |
| And could you see not sitting by but to survive | J |
| No matter what or whatever it takes | H |
| Time is measured one moment at a time | D |
| - | |
| If anyone should ask me | K |
| Where I am going and how far | L |
| Or will I set my soul free | K |
