Spring Wind In London Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABAB CDCDCD EFEFEF GHGHGH IJIJIJ KLKLKL MNMNMO

I Blow across the stagnant worldA
I blow across the seaB
For me the sailor's flag unfurledA
For me the uprooted treeB
My challenge to the world is hurledA
The world must bow to meB
-
I drive the clouds across the skyC
I huddle them like sheepD
Merciless shepherd dog am IC
And shepherd watch I keepD
If in the quiet vales they lieC
I blow them up the steepD
-
Lo In the tree tops do I hideE
In every living thingF
On the moon's yellow wings I glideE
On the wild rose I swingF
On the sea horse's back I rideE
And what then do I bringF
-
And when a little child is illG
I pause and with my handH
I wave the window curtain's frillG
That he may understandH
Outside the wind is blowing stillG
It is a pleasant landH
-
O stranger in a foreign placeI
See what I bring to youJ
This rain is tears upon your faceI
I tell you tell you trueJ
I came from that forgotten placeI
Where once the wattle grewJ
-
All the wild sweetness of the flowerK
Tangled against the wallL
It was that magic silent hourK
The branches grew so tallL
They twined themselves into a bowerK
The sun shown and the fallL
-
Of yellow blossom on the grassM
You feel that golden rainN
Both of you could not hold alasM
both of you tried in vainN
A memory stranger So I passM
It will not come againO
