Now I Am A Plant, A Weed... Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEABECFFDGHHIJK LILDDMMFNO

Now I am a plant a weedA
Bending and swingingB
On a rocky ledgeC
And now I am a long brown grassD
Fluttering like flameE
I am a reedA
An old shell singingB
For ever the sameE
A drift of sedgeC
A white white stoneF
A boneF
Until I passD
Into sand againG
And spin and blowH
To and fro to and froH
On the edge of the seaI
In the fading lightJ
For the light fadesK
-
But if you were to come you would not sayL
She is not waiting here for meI
She has forgotten Have we not in playL
Disguised ourselves as weed and stones and grassD
While the strange ships did passD
Gently gravely leaving a curl of foamM
That uncurled softly about our island homeM
Bubbles of foam that glittered on the stoneF
Like rainbows Look darling No they are goneN
And the white sails have melted into the sailing skyO
