Babies must not eat the coalA
And they must not make grimacesB
Nor in party dresses rollA
And must never black their facesC

They must learn that pointing's rudeD
They must sit quite still at tableE
And must always eat the foodD
Put before them if they're ableE
-
If they fall they must not cryF
Though it's known how painful this isB
No there's always Mother byF
Who will comfort them with kissesC
