Missing Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCBD EFE GHGH IIII JKLK MINI OIOI

To Leucha Mary WarnerA
-
He is 'Missing ' and forlornB
Drag her days in grief and painC
Every morn a hope is bornB
Only to be lost againD
-
'Missing ' Almost better 'Killed '-
The long anguish breaks her heartE
That's a dead thing numbed and chilledF
Till the live fear bids it startE
-
Now a knocking at the doorG
Now a shouting in the streetH
Makes her poor heart run beforeG
The most bitter news to meetH
-
'Missing ' It may be he diesI
'Mid his foes and comfortlessI
When sleep shuts her heavy eyesI
Still she seeks him in distressI
-
Dear he is not missing not lostJ
Rest your heart as on a bedK
For the One who loves him mostL
Knows where he has laid his headK
-
He accounted of all worthM
This beloved bought with a priceI
Watchers look East South and NorthN
From the heights of ParadiseI
-
Lest that he take any illO
Still the Mighty Lover goesI
Seeks the beloved o'er many a hillO
Be at rest dear child He knowsI
