The Sunset, Woven Of Soft Lights Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDEDEAAAA

THE sunset woven of soft lightsA
And tender colors lingers lateB
As looking back on all day's dreary plightsA
CompassionateC
The foolish day of hopes so highD
Who counts her hours by blunders nowE
Yet wears at last this jewel crown of skyD
Upon her browE
Out to eternity she goesA
Not for her failure scorned but seeA
Our poor day flushed with beauty one more roseA
On God's rose treeA
