Spain Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABBCBCABABBDBCABAB BCECECBC

Across New England snowsA
Flash visions from afarB
Lithe gipsies on their toesA
Dancing to gay guitarB
With gesture fierce bizarreB
They lilt some old refrainC
In whose wild measures areB
The witcheries of SpainC
The stinging north wind blowsA
But with a ruddy jarB
Poised on her proud head goesA
A maiden like a starB
While biting his cigarB
Her lover scorned againD
Loads on his ass drawn carB
The oranges of SpainC
As keen as cameosA
Against yon gray cloud barB
Shine out a tower of roseA
A spire like flaming sparB
Gold shrines whose candles charB
The world to ashes trainC
Of pilgrims globularE
Pomegranates flushed with SpainC
What freak of calendarE
What frostwork on the paneC
What angry sleet can marB
My picture book of SpainC
