Not Yet Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCCABAADDAAEFAAEFGA HHGAIBAAJB

NOT yet hath Nature lovely coloristA
Bestirred her from creative dream to flingB
Soft flame upon the woods nay not to dipC
One pleading maple tipC
In carmine all the waiting world is whistA
Alert to hear the first faint flutes of springB
Not yet the tingling flood of blue and goldA
Is poured through heaven but o'er the misty pondA
Quiet as patterned silk flushed saplings leanD
And the auspicious greenD
Through the deep woods and on the unpathed woldA
Brightens in patient moss and wistful frondA
Not yet cascades of melody invokeE
The holy dawn but all the air perceivesF
By some fine thrill the rushing northward flightA
Of myriad wings despiteA
The nonchalances of this crookback oakE
Still clinging to its russet shreds of leavesF
Not yet the laughing hid folk of the earthG
Thrust Up white helm and golden coronetA
Sweet elfin host armored in gossamerH
But gentle tremors stirH
The conscious mold new beauty comes to birthG
Under the snow's fast melting coverletA
Not yet not yet the yearly miracleI
Is wrought but ecstasy is on the wingB
And her divine irrevocable flightA
Is swift as all delightA
The heart is hushed as for the sacring bellJ
Awe smitten by expectancy of springB
