New Year Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEDAADFDGFGAAHIH JIJA

WHITE year white yearA
Muffled soft in snowB
A diamond spray whose gems are goneC
Before their grace we knowB
A crystal coated spray whose hoursD
Melt when looked uponE
Hoarfrost stars and hoarfrost flowersD
White yearA
Green year green yearA
Sweet with sun and showersD
A windblown spray whose blossoms brightF
Are the seven colored hoursD
A dancing spray whose leaves are daysG
A spray whose leaves delightF
In azure gleam and silver hazeG
Green yearA
New Year new yearA
From rosy leaf to goldH
A shining spray on the Tree of TimeI
Where myriad sprays unfoldH
A spray so fair that God may seeJ
And gather it bloom and rimeI
To deck the doors of EternityJ
New YearA
