Freedom's Battle-song Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCCDEFEDDDFAAGGDEFE DDDFAHIJIDEFEDDDF

RED white blue the flag that leads us onA
Stripes as red as blood well shed by many a hero goneB
Now 'tis ours to storm the towers of tyranny and wrongC
Freedom's sons who front the guns with Freedom's battle songC
Fly the flag from dome and steepleD
Fly the flag from home and schoolE
Flag of Freedom's birthF
While we battle that the ruleE
Of the peopleD
By the peopleD
For the peopleD
Shall prevail o'er all the earthF
Red white blue the flag that leads us onA
White as peace for whose release our fighting gear we donA
Peace enchained crushed profaned shall yet in beauty standG
Yet shall bless with fruitfulness her desolated landG
Fly the flag from dome and steepleD
Fly the flag from home and schoolE
Flag of Freedom's birthF
While we battle that the ruleE
Of the peopleD
By the peopleD
For the peopleD
Shall prevail o'er all the earthF
Red white blue the flag that leads us onA
Blue as skies whose starry eyes shall see our victory wonH
Freedom's sons and champions to her our hearts are trueI
We who fight for Human Right and the RedJ
White BlueI
Fly the flag from dome and steepleD
Fly the flag from home and schoolE
Flag of Freedom's birthF
While we battle that the ruleE
Of the peopleD
By the peopleD
For the peopleD
Shall prevail o'er all the earthF
