Red Aster, Blue Lavender Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AA AA AA AA BA AA A AA AC AD AA

I dug myself a hole seven feet underA
then I buried myself deep torn asunderA
-
I buried it all the rain and thunderA
And from my tears and sorrow grew a red asterA
-
Red asters was my frustration and angerA
Made fresh with pain and sorrow tears and horrorA
-
I clung to the light lest I lose and err in blunderA
And regrew my limbs my heart emotions tenderA
-
I understood I accepted I left it as isB
I refreshed my pace and gait it left me to wonderA
-
When would another yesterday emerge and renderA
Another cycle in which I dearly dearly disfavorA
-
The life I live and which I scorn and horrorA
-
I let myself grasp an empty hope a rope a ladderA
And grew myself a sky blue lavenderA
-
I let it embrace me and I embraced its odorA
And let my reason rest in blissful solaceC
-
For who knew what came tomorrow may it please be merrierA
Peace and tranquility while it lasted was mild and mellowD
-
Was it not better to live by the lavenderA
Then despair and hang on the the asterA
