The Common Man Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEBBB BBBFGFGHCIJJKLL B MNOPAP

When plastered billboards scream with slogansA
'fight for your country go to battle'B
When media's print assults your sensesC
'Support our leaders' shrieks and rattlesD
And fools who don't know any betterE
Believe the old eternal lieB
That we must march and shoot and killB
Murder and burn and bomb and grillB
-
When press begins the battle cryB
That nation needs to unifyB
And for your country you must dieB
Dear brainwashed friend my neighbor dearF
Brother from this or other nationG
Know that the cries of anger fearF
Are nothing but manipulationG
by fat cats kings who covet richesH
And feed off your sweat and blood the leechesC
When call to arms engulfs the landI
It means that somewhere oil was foundJ
Shooting 'blackgold' from undergroundJ
It means they found a sneaky wayK
To make more money grab more goldL
But this is not what you are toldL
-
Don't spill your blood for bucks or oilB
Break burn your rifle shout 'NO DEAL '-
Let the rich scoundrels kings and bankersM
Send their own children to get killedN
May your loud voice be amplifiedO
By roar of other common menP
The battle weary of all nationsA
WE WON'T BE CONNED TO WAR AGAINP
