Sometimes Never Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGH BIHJ KJLMN

Talking we begin to find the way intoA
our hearts we who knew no wordsB
words being a rare commodityC
in those countries we left behindD
-
Both refugees and similarly deprivedE
we marvel at the many things thereF
are to say so many variationsG
and colors of the same thought soH
-
many different lengths in the wordsB
that line up together on our tonguesI
No scarcity no rationing noH
waiting in line in order to buyJ
-
the same answer we heard each timeK
we asked that one word owned byJ
the state manufactured by the stateL
serving all purposes equally alikeM
No No No and sometimes NeverN
