I will land on my feet this time | E |

my friends are I will dress for the | G |
occasion and my hair shall be | H |
whatever color I please | I |
Everyone will go on celebrating the old | J |
birthday counting the years as usual | K |
but I will count myself new from this | L |
inception this imprint of my own desire | C |

past leaning fenceposts a gravel shoulder | C |
asphalt tickets the beckon of open road | N |
The second half of my life will be wide eyed | O |
fingers shifting through fine sands | P |
arms loose at my sides wandering feet | Q |
There will be new dreams every night | R |
and the drapes will never be closed | S |
I will toss my string of keys into a deep | T |
well and old letters into the grate | U |
