Poet's note: The poem is depicting the image of a Nigerian bearing the mountain of being a Nigerian. It shows the vivid picture of a once rational optimistic citizen who had glims of doubts about the future of his belove country but like every patriotic citizen of every country, he prays, hopes but knows that contrary to every fairy tales, this one does not have a better ending.
This poem was written on the 10th of October,2020.
It was written for the Federal Republic of Nigeria and it's citizens.
I aim to express a deep sympathy for the good people of Nigeria for their continuous suffering in the torrid hands of their Leaders. I have written this to draw a portrait of how hard life is for them
