Rhyme Scheme: ABAB BCBD

'ADIEU ' she cried and with that cryA
Adown the star lit valley fleetedB
And Echo from her tower on highA
With cruel tongue the word repeatedB

'What Never ' cried I yet possess'dB
Of hope that by some sweet endeavourC
Again we'd meet our hearts at restB
When 'What ' cried startled EchoD
