Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFE GHGHIJKLJ MFNFIOPO

SHE is not fashioned to commandA
Nor once for grace in her is shownB
A form that peers the lily wandC
An air the lily's self might ownB
Not such her vaunt tho' such enchantD
Nay make with joy the reason reelE
'Tis hers to bear a boon more rareF
A heart another's woe to feelE
-
Nor hers the hair that beams afarG
Like streams of molten gold an eyeH
That twinkles like the little starG
Attends the virgin moon on highH
Not such her vaunt yet joy will hauntI
Whoe'er her gentle smile has viewedJ
That smile would light the gloom wouldK
blightL
A heart with lion nerve enduedJ
-
Not hers the golden tones that breakM
Like music from the lips the rareF
The dancing dimple on the cheekN
Accorded to the fabled fairF
Not such her vaunt nay pride might tauntI
Her with a lack of charms yet ohO
She's to the faint and weak a saintP
Ordained to bless this world belowO
