Robin Redbreast Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDEAE FGFHIJKJ ALM NOBO

'TIS little Robin RedbreastA
Was piping on the sprayB
'And pray mamma what shall we doA
To bring him up this way 'C
Mamma into the pantry goesD
And out again she comesE
And up flies the piper sweetA
To pick up the crumbsE
-
I laughed to see the birdie pickF
And clapt my hands in mirthG
When pussy up her ears did prickF
Was lying on the hearthH
The nasty puss from out the houseI
Now at the piper springsJ
But off unhurt darts RobinK
Upon his little wingsJ
-
'You cruel Tab what would you doA
Mamma reach me the caneL
And I will teach her Queenship howM
To play such pranks again '-
Around the room I pussy ranN
And vainly ran her longO
The while away upon the sprayB
Sweet Robin piped his songO
