Lost At The Fair Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAC ADEFD GHAH I JKAK I ALEM ADEND

LAST night at the Fair did I lose thee my honeyA
I hunted thee south and I hunted thee northB
I'd rather than lost thee have lost all the moneyA
That all the great lords in the kingdom are worthC
-
Chorus Heart sorry in worry in flurry did hurryA
Poor I like a wild thing alost here and thereD
When Rosy the cosy sweet Rosy the posyE
And pride of her Robin was miss'd atF
the FairD
-
Resolved to discover the fleet footed roverG
My way thro' the stalls shows and people I woundH
But there 'mid ways many the rarest of anyA
No image like Rose's sweet image was foundH
-
Chorus Heart sorry in worry and flurry etcI
-
With glee the Inns sounded with joyance unboundedJ
Danced maiden and callant I into them glancedK
But who was who barely I saw tho' saw fairlyA
That no one like Rose with the dancers a dancedK
-
Chorus Heart sorry in worry and flurry etcI
-
In search of my honey I spent all my moneyA
Then took to the road in a spirit of gloomL
When lo with my Rosy I met and the posyE
I kiss'd her and cuddled her all the way homeM
-
Chorus Heart sorry in worry in flurry did hurryA
Poor I like a wild thing alost here and thereD
Till lo with my Rosy I met and the posyE
I kiss's sung and linked with her home fromN
the FairD
