The fallen leaf has left a bud behind | H |
And flowers will bloom of brightest hue and kind | H |
For when we look beneath the outward crust | I |
With vision clear and free from worldly lust | I |
We will behold a brighter world than this | J |
With less of curse and much of noble bliss | J |
For God's kind hand in all our conflicts here | K |
Is clearly seen and doubts must disappear | L |
The end He has in view is most benign | M |
The fire will dross consume and gold refine | M |
