They press upon us in its early dawn | B |
And multiply apace as years roll on | C |
And at each turn we must their problems meet | A |
Reason is blind and fails their end to see | D |
Misjudges God and gathers only woe | E |
And from this spring much turbid waters flow | E |
Only the pure in heart from doubt are free | D |
They read aright the writing on the wall | F |
Which solves the problems of our earthly lot | G |
To them God draws aside the veil and shows | H |
The golden threads with which the garment glows | H |
And why one dwells in palace one in cot | G |
And how His love is working good to all | F |
