My Lot Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEDE FGHGIJKJ

My lot on earth is not all mirthA
Nor is it constant gloomB
Some joys decay and fall awayC
But leave much lasting bloomB
My wishes are not always metD
And cares press hard at timesE
Yet joyous strains ne'er sink to fretD
Tho' dollars shrink to dimesE
-
My earthly lot boasts not a cotF
No foot of land I ownG
No bank account nor phosphate mountH
Nor credit for a loanG
But I can read my title clearI
To mansion robe and crownJ
I couple these with lot down hereK
And sing tho' foes may frownJ
