Late Autumn Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFGFHIHI

The fields lie bare before me nowA
The fruit is gathered inB
Not even seen a grazing cowA
Nor heard the blackbird's dinB
The heath is brown and ivy paleC
The woodbine berries redD
And withered leaves borne on the galeC
Sink down on peaty bedD
-
At morn the fence was covered o'erE
With a pale sheet of rimeF
The earth was like a marble floorG
But now is turned to grimeF
For Autumn rains are falling fastH
And swells the running brookI
The Indian Summer too is pastH
For snowfall soon we lookI
