Every flower that decks the wayA
Whether it be dun or gayA
Fills a place in God's great planB
Serving Him while pleasing manB
Every star that gilds the nightC
With its beams of silver lightC
Has its mission to fulfilD
As assigned it by God's willD
-
Feathered songsters all declareE
As they cleave the ambient airE
He who made us made our laysF
Giving each a note of praiseF
Each one's note unique and sweetG
Helps to make the song completeG
Various tones yet all agreeH
Forming one grand symphonyH
-
So also does God's own handI
Fix in place each grain of sandI
Tiny though that grain may beH
Hangs on it the destinyH
Of a world yea systems wholeD
As they in their orbits rollD
Should it from its globe removeJ
Worlds would clash and chaos proveJ
-
When we reach the world of mindK
Law and order still we findK
In God's purpose is a planB
For the life of every manB
Free he may his own course chooseL
Help divine through pride refuseL
But disorder will ensueM
Life a wreck Yet God is trueM
