| But God will set my feet on high | C |
| Thro' grace I shall attain | D |

| Its peak but dimly seen | F |
| But hope impels and love commands | E |
| And faith discerns its sheen | F |
| And when I reach its shining height | G |
| Heaven's gate will open wide | H |
