A World Redeemed Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFEGHIH JKLKMFFFNOPO QRSRBTTTUKVK FBWBTXCXAYZY

This world is but the shadowA
Of the world that is to beB
A ripple on the surfaceC
Of a deep unfathomed seaB
God's plans are always perfectD
But long ages interveneE
From the planning of the templeF
To the glow upon its sheenE
But we can be co workersG
In accomplishing his planH
For in God's purpose is a placeI
For every son of manH
-
The germ may be developedJ
In a more salubrious climeK
All obstacles surmountedL
In the onward march of timeK
And nature's forces harnessedM
Will their destiny fulfilF
And things now deemed supernalF
Respond to human willF
For God has so adjustedN
The laws of this earthly sphereO
That by man's help his plans unfoldP
And order doth appearO
-
The words of God's own prophetsQ
Concerning these latter daysR
Of mighty transformationsS
To our great Redeemer's praiseR
When wastes shall glow in beautyB
And the savage beast be kindT
Though they have prior fulfilmentT
In the realm of soul and mindT
Will then be more than figureU
Though that we all count sublimeK
The earth will wear its regal robesV
In every land and climeK
-
This life is but a sampleF
Of the life that is to beB
There we know the perfect lessonW
Here we learn the a b cB
And the life beyond is fashionedT
By the thoughts and deeds of thisX
Fitting it for realms of darknessC
Or for never ending blissX
For those alone will sorrowA
Who receive His grace in vainY
But those who wrought with God will proveZ
That godliness is gainY
