To The Pure All Things Are Pure Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFEFAA

The flowers I pass have eyes that look at meA
The birds have ears that hear my spirit's voiceB
And I am glad the leaping brook to seeA
Because it does at my light step rejoiceB
Come brothers all who tread the grassy hillC
Or wander thoughtless o'er the blooming fieldsD
Come learn the sweet obedience of the willC
Thence every sight and sound new pleasure yieldsD
Nature shall seem another house of thineE
When he who formed thee bids it live and playF
And in thy rambles e'en the creeping vineE
Shall keep with thee a jocund holidayF
And every plant and bird and insect beA
Thine own companions born for harmonyA
