The Dead Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFEFGH

I see them crowd on crowd they walk the earthA
Dry leafless trees no Autumn wind laid bareB
And in their nakedness find cause for mirthA
And all unclad would winter's rudeness dareB
No sap doth through their clattering branches flowC
Whence springing leaves and blossoms bright appearD
Their hearts the living God have ceased to knowC
Who gives the spring time to th'expectant yearD
They mimic life as if from him to stealE
His glow of health to paint the livid cheekF
They borrow words for thoughts they cannot feelE
That with a seeming heart their tongue may speakF
And in their show of life more dead they liveG
Than those that to the earth with many tears they giveH
