Life Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEDEFGFGGG

IT is not life upon Thy gifts to liveA
But to grow fixed with deeper roots in TheeB
And when the sun and shower their bounties giveC
To send out thick leaved limbs a fruitful treeB
Whose green head meets the eye for many a mileD
Whose moss grown arms their rigid branches rearE
And full faced fruits their blushing welcome smileD
As to its goodly shade our feet draw nearE
Who tastes its gifts shall never hunger moreF
For 'tis the Father spreads the pure repastG
Who while we eat renews the ready storeF
Which at his bounteous board must ever lastG
For none the bridegroom's supper shall attendG
Who will not hear and make his word their friendG
