Change Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABABBCBDBABAEE| Father there is no change to live with Thee | A |
| Save that in Christ I grow from day to day | B |
| In each new word I hear each thing I see | A |
| I but rejoicing hasten on the way | B |
| The morning comes with blushes overspread | B |
| And I new wakened find a morn within | C |
| And in its modest dawn around me shed | B |
| Thou hear'st the prayer and the ascending hymn | D |
| Hour follows hour the lengthening shades descend | B |
| Yet they could never reach as far as me | A |
| Did not thy love thy kind protection lend | B |
| That I a child might sleep awhile on Thee | A |
| Till to the light restored by gentle sleep | E |
| With new found zeal I might thy precepts keep | E |
