A Rebus. By Vanessa Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAABBCCDDEE

Cut the name of the man who his mistress deniedA
And let the first of it be only appliedA
To join with the prophet who David did chideA
Then say what a horse is that runs very fastB
And that which deserves to be first put the lastB
Spell all then and put them together to findC
The name and the virtues of him I design'dC
Like the patriarch in Egypt he's versed in the stateD
Like the prophet in Jewry he's free with the greatD
Like a racer he flies to succour with speedE
When his friends want his aid or desert is in needE
