A Prayer To The Father Of Heaven Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABBCBC ABABBCBC

O radiant luminary of light interminableA
Celestial Father potential God of mightB
Of heaven and earth O Lord incomparableA
Of all perfections the essential most perfiteB
O maker of mankind that form d day and nightB
Whose power imperial comprehendeth every placeC
Mine heart my mind my thought my whole delightB
Is after this life to see thy glorious faceC
-
Whose magnificense is incomprehensibleA
All arguments of reason which far doth exceedB
Whose deity doubtless is indivisibleA
From whom all goodness and virtue doth proceedB
Of thy support all cre tures have needB
Assist me good Lord and grant my of thy graceC
To live to thy pleasure in word thought and deedB
And after this life to see thy glorious faceC
