Will Ye Also Go Away? Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF GHGI JKLK MNMN OEOE

When any turn from Zion's wayA
Alas what numbers doB
Methinks I hear my Saviour sayA
Wilt thou forsake me tooB
-
Ah Lord with such a heart as mineC
Unless thou hold me fastD
I feel I must I shall declineC
And prove like them at lastD
-
Yet thou alone hast pow'r I knowE
To save a wretch like meF
To whom or whither could I goE
If I should turn from theeF
-
Beyond a doubt I rest assuredG
Thou art the Christ of GodH
Who hast eternal life securedG
By promise and by bloodI
-
The help of men and angels joinedJ
Could never reach my caseK
Nor can I hope relief to findL
But in thy boundless graceK
-
No voice but thine can give me restM
And bid my fears departN
No love but thine can make me blestM
And satisfy my heartN
-
What anguish has that question stirredO
If I will also goE
Yet Lord relying on thy wordO
I humbly answer NoE
