Let us adore the grace that seeksA
To draw our hearts aboveB
Attend 'tis God the Saviour speaksA
And every word is loveB
-
Though filled with awe before his throneC
Each angel veils his faceD
He claims a people for his ownC
Amongst our sinful raceD
-
Careless awhile they live in sinE
Enslaved to Satan's pow'rF
But they obey the call divineG
In his appointed hourH
-
Come forth he says no more pursueI
The paths that lead to deathJ
Look up a bleeding Saviour viewI
Look and be saved by faithK
-
My sons and daughters you shall beL
Through the atoning bloodM
And you shall claim and find in meL
A Father and a GodN
-
Lord speak these words to every heartO
By thine all powerful voiceP
That we may now from sin departO
And make thy love our choiceP
-
If now we learn to seek thy faceD
By Christ the living wayQ
We'll praise thee for this hour of graceD
Through an eternal dayQ
