In Flanders Field Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBA AABC AABBAC

In Flanders fields the poppies blowA
Between the crosses row on rowA
That mark our place and in the skyB
The larks still bravely singing flyB
Scarce heard amid the guns belowA
-
We are the Dead Short days agoA
We lived felt dawn saw sunset glowA
Loved and were loved and now we lieB
In Flanders fieldsC
-
Take up our quarrel with the foeA
To you from failing hands we throwA
The torch be yours to hold it highB
If ye break faith with us who dieB
We shall not sleep though poppies growA
In Flanders fieldsC
