Anarchy Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF

I saw a city filled with lust and shameA
Where men like wolves slunk through the grim half lightB
And sudden in the midst of it there cameA
One who spoke boldly for the cause of RightB
-
And speaking fell before that brutish raceC
Like some poor wren that shrieking eagles tearD
While brute Dishonour with her bloodless faceC
Stood by and smote his lips that moved in prayerD
-
Speak not of God In centuries that wordE
Hath not been uttered Our own king are weF
And God stretched forth his finger as He heardE
And o'er it cast a thousand leagues of seaF
