Cupid And My Campaspe Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACCCCDDEEFFGG

Cupid and my Campaspe playedA
At cards for kissesB
Cupid paidA
He stakes his quiver bow and arrowsC
His mother's doves and team of sparrowsC
Loses them too then down he throwsC
The coral of his lip the roseC
Growing on's cheek but none knows howD
With these the crystal of his browD
And then the dimple of his chinE
All these did my Campaspe winE
At last he set her both his eyesF
She won and Cupid blind did riseF
O Love has she done this to theeG
What shall alas become of meG
