Post Nubes Lux Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCC DEDEFF GFGFHH

Sink sullen rear guard of the stormA
Behind the Laugen's snowy crestB
Already Rotheck's lordly formA
Stands spotless in the radiant westB
Blow winter wind and clarifyC
Our crystal air our sapphire skyC
-
Shine Sun God Give us life once moreD
Too long have clouds concealed thy faceE
Give to Meran the look she woreD
When to her beauty light and graceE
I gladly yielded heart and soulF
And made my home in fair TyrolF
-
Stupendous source of life and lightG
As in thy warmth my pulses thrillF
Before thy glory and thy mightG
I feel myself a Pagan stillF
And in my spirit's inmost shrineH
I half adore thee as divineH
