On Solitude Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCC DDEE FFEE GGHH

An emotion that cannot be expressedA
Lingering in hearts and souls of distressB
A hand closes doors to the outer spaceC
Opening windows in the inner placeC
-
Rejoice to the gleaming days of lightD
Devoice in the boundless and empty nightD
Breathe on tomorrows as they will unwindE
Grieve for there exists no shelter to findE
-
Some lost squandering the brilliance of lifeF
Some suffer dancing with booze pills and knifeF
Some obsessed consuming its last feeble mindE
Some indifferent feeling bleak black and blindE
-
O solitude long have I dwelled with theeG
In silence waves crest in my bitter seaG
But let tide wash away the cold chagrinH
Let it be the last solace deep withinH
