The dim moon glowed among the gentle darkA
Between the white clouds and the lucid eyeB
Bearing the weight of time on its slim arcA
Sighing on how quickly moments flied byB

Walking alone along the same old streetsC
Glancing upon the streams that used to flowD
The little nests once of vigor and tweetsC
Now buried deep under the pale white snowD

As shooting stars blazed across the vast nightE
Watching the winter dream to be unsealedF
As time scattered along the endless whiteE
Across the backyards the streets and the fieldF
-
To fetch the shadow of spring underneathG
The memory of which nature bequeathG
