Blondine Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFE GBGBDHIH JBJBKLML

I wandered through a careless worldA
Deceived when not deceivingB
And never gave an idle heartC
The rapture of believingB
The smiles the sighs the glancing eyesD
Of many hundred comersE
Swept by me light as rose leaves blownF
From long forgotten summersE
-
But never eyes so deep and brightG
And loyal in their seemingB
And never smiles so full of lightG
Have shone upon my dreamingB
The looks and lips so gay and wiseD
The thousand charms that wreathe themH
Almost I dare believe that truthI
Is safely shrined beneath themH
-
Ah do they shine those eyes of thineJ
But for our own misleadingB
The fresh young smile so pure and fineJ
Does it but mock our readingB
Then faith is fled and trust is deadK
And unbelief grows dutyL
If fraud can wield the triple armM
Of youth and wit and beautyL
