A Blessing Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCDBC EFGEF

After HeineA
-
-
When I look on thee and feel how dearB
How pure and how fair thou artC
Into my eyes there steals a tearD
And a shadow mingled of love and fearB
Creeps slowly over my heartC
-
And my very hands feel as if they would layE
Themselves on thy fair young headF
And pray the good God to keep thee alwayG
As good and lovely as pure and gayE
When I and my wild love are deadF
