The Call Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Is it the wind that stirs the treesA
Is it the trees that scratch the wallB
Is it the wall that shakes and muttersC
Is it a dumb ghost's callB
-
The wind steals in and twirls the candleD
The branches heave and brush the wallB
But more than tree or wild wind muttersC
This night this night of allB
-
Open a cry sounds and I gaspE
Open and hands beat door and wallB
Open and each dark echo muttersC
I rise a shape and shadow tallB
-
Open Across the room I falterF
And near the door crouch by the wallB
Thrice bolt the door as the voice muttersC
Open and frail strokes fallB
-
Open The light's out and I shrinkG
Quaking and blind against the wallB
Open no sound is yet it muttersC
Within me now this night of allB
-
Was it the wind that stirred the treesA
Was it the trees that scratched the wallB
Was it the wall that shook and mutteredH
Or Love's last ghostly callB
