Now comeB
And I that moment will forget youC
Sit hereD
And in your eyes I shall not see youC
Speak speakE
That I no more may hear your musicF
Into my armsG
Till I've forgotten I ever met youC
-
I shall not have you when I hold youC
Body to bodyH
Though your firm flesh though your strong fingersI
Be knit to theseJ
On a wild hill I shall be chasingK
The thought of youC
False will be those true things I told youC
I shall forget youC
-
No do not comeB
Where the wind hunts there shall I find youC
In cool gray cloudL
Where the sun slips through I shall see youC
Or where the treesJ
Are silenced and darken in their branchesM
Your coming wouldN
Loosen when my thought still would bind youC
-
Against my shoulder your warm shoulderO
When last you leanedP
Think were you nearer then and dearerO
Or I more gladQ
O eternal love your body brings youC
No nearerO
Trust me be bold be even a little bolderO
And do not comeB
