Upon A Snail Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDEDFCACA G CHBHIJIKLMLM

She goes but softly but she goeth sureA
She stumbles not as stronger creatures doB
Her journey's shorter so she may endureA
Better than they which do much farther goC
She makes no noise but stilly seizeth onD
The flower or herb appointed for her foodE
The which she quietly doth feed uponD
While others range and glare but find no goodF
And though she doth but very softly goC
However 'tis not fast nor slow but sureA
And certainly they that do travel soC
The prize they do aim at they do procureA

Although they seem not much to stir less goC
For Christ that hunger or from wrath that fleeH
Yet what they seek for quickly they come toB
Though it doth seem the farthest off to beH
One act of faith doth bring them to that flowerI
They so long for that they may eat and liveJ
Which to attain is not in others powerI
Though for it a king's ransom they would giveK
Then let none faint nor be at all dismayedL
That life by Christ do seek they shall not failM
To have it let them nothing be afraidL
The herb and flower are eaten by the snailM
