As 'tis appointed men should die	A
So judgment is the next	B
That meets them most assuredly	C
For so saith holy text	B

Wherefore of judgment I shall now	D
Inform you what I may	E
That you may see what 'tis and how	D
'Twill be with men that day	E

This world it hath a time to stand	F
Which time when ended then	G
Will issue judgment out of hand	F

Where he will sit to judge and where	R
He'll count with every one	U

In which all crimes are writ	W
All virtues too of faith and hope	V

To shun the sentence which the Lord	H

With majesty and dread	X

And every word and action too	Y
He there will manifest	C2
Yea all that ever thou didst do	Y
Or keep within thy breast	C2

The world that then will stand	F
To see thy judge open ev'ry sore	D2
And all thy evils scann'd	F

Weighing each sin and wickedness	E2
With so much equity	C
Proportioning of thy distress	F2
And woful misery	C

With so much justice doing right	Q
That thou thyself shalt say	E
My sins have brought me to this plight	Q
I threw myself away	E

But O how willingly would these	H2

If that they might have help or ease	H2
Unto the mountains flee	C

They would rejoice if that they might	Q
But underneath them creep	V
To hide them from revenging right	Q
For fear of which they weep	V

No shelter will be found for men	G

When Christ by grace did call	J
To them therefore they are not heard	O
No mountains on them fall	J

No high profession here can stand	F

The heart that rotten is	H2
All cloaks now must be laid aside	L2

That heart that here was right for God	A

But those that evil ways have trod	A

As sore confounded with the guilt	A
