406 [unfinished] Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKI

I do not know the meaning of the signA
But bend before its power as a reed bendsB
When the black tornado fills the valley to the lipsC
Three times in twenty years its shape has comeD
On lines of fire on the black veil of mysteryE
At first tho' strange it seemed familiarF
And lingered on the mind as if at restG
The second time if flashed a thrill came tooH
For supernature spoke or tried to speakI
The third time like a blow upon the eyesJ
It stood before me as a page might sayK
'Read read and do not call for other warning'I
